A report from an internship in the practice of Dr. André Saine in Montreal, Canada. Diagnoses of the patients during the 2 1/2-week stay in September 2001 were multiple sclerosis, epilepsy, cancer, schizophrenia, muscular dystrophy, chronic kidney disease, ataxia and severe behavioural disorders, in addition also myasthenia gravis, chronic mastoiditis, hyperthyroidism, scleroderma, chronic lymphatic leukaemia, acute anxiety, depression with suicidal tendency, manic-depressive psychosis.
